BADMINTON England currently has a Badminton Development Officer working in the county overseeing the development of badminton from grassroots in schools to badminton for all ages and abilities.
The main responsibilities for the development officer is working on coach education, club accreditation, school-club links, and increasing participation within the sport.
Badminton in Nottinghamshire is currently quite healthy. There is a good network of clubs for juniors, adult community pay & play, and league structure. Nottinghamshire has a registered coaching association for all of the qualified coaches in the county.
