Gedling Borough Council
The Sports Development Services work in partnership with others to enable, facilitate and advise a range of organisations involved in providing sporting opportunities for the community.
Our partners include sports clubs, schools and many other sport and recreation providers.
Our aim is to get more people, playing more sport, more often.
We are now aiming to reach goals set by our ‘Changing lifestyles’ strategy. The Strategy identifies an idyllic position for Sport and Physical Activity participation levels in the year 2015. The aims include increasing the capacity of local sports clubs, increasing activity levels within young people and developing facilities to meet the needs of the community.
