Ashfield District Council Sports Development, through a partnership approach, is committed to developing clubs, volunteers and talented athletes.

Gold Silver Bronze Talented Athlete Scheme

Provides free and discounted use in Ashfield District Council’s Leisure Centres to support the training needs of our county regional and national sports people.

Gold Silver Bronze Club Accreditation Scheme

Helps our sports clubs achieve accreditation by providing ‘one to one’ support through a new scheme to improve the quality and safety of our clubs.

Ashfield Club Forum

Supports the forum to provide training opportunities for clubs and volunteers.

Volunteering in Sport

Provides opportunities and development for volunteers and potential volunteers in sport.

School Club Links

Working closely with the Ashfield district School Sports Partnership we aim to provide closer communication between schools and clubs.

Ashfield Festival of Sport

A two week festival in June to raise the awareness of opportunities in sport and physical activity.

Nottinghamshire Youth Games

Creating opportunities to participate and volunteer in sport through a county event to be staged in Ashfield in July 2008.
