England Squash is responsible for the governance of Squash in England.
England Squash currently has 6 regional managers, soon to be increased to 8, each overseeing the development of squash and squash clubs regionally.
The main responsibilities development managers are currently working on are coach education, club accreditation, school-club links, and increasing participation and membership of England Squash.
Squash in Nottinghamshire is currently quite healthy. There is a good network of clubs providing mini squash/junior squash coaching and there are a number of qualified coaches in the county.
The county has also benefited from a part time development officer and England Squash are also soon to appoint a player pathway development coach who will be actively coaching in schools and clubs, introducing squash to, and providing coaching for groups who may not normally have the opportunity to play the game.
