Orienteering in Nottinghamshire

British Orienteering is responsible for the governance of orienteering in Great Britain and has a team of development staff working in the regions plus a small team of staff at the national office.
The development staff are all part time and cover more than one county but work directly with the local club.
The club covering Nottinghamshire is the Nottinghamshire Orienteering Club (NOC) which is responsible for all competitions and coaching in the county.
NOC is a constituent club of the East Midlands Orienteering Association which works with the other 3 clubs in the regions to provide a coordinated fixtures list and coaching for the East Midlands juniors who reach the required standard.
