Nottinghamshire sits within the British Judo Association Midland area. There is currently no county structure, but a strong network of clubs in the county.
The Regional Development Officer's main responsibility is to support clubs through Clubmark and to action club development plans to help judo clubs access funding.
The BJA Regional Development Officer also works with external partners like the County Sports Partnerships, Sport England and sportscoach UK to allow judo to develop within the region.
